| How to Block Someone’s YouTube Comments |
Many things can happen as well as a business company posting an ad for that company, giving the phishing mail id or links to hacking in the hacker. In this post, we will look at what can post done to prevent this.
How to Block Someone’s YouTube Comments:

How to Block Innocent Proprietary Comments?
You can manage four types of YouTube comments or users. They are,
- Block Someone Comments
- Block Someone on YouTube
- Unblock Someone On YouTube
- Block Unwanted Words and Links
The four sections seen above can see one after the other.
1. Block Someone Comments:
Open Youtube Studio:

Click this link to open the youtube studio of the channel you want to manage YouTube comments on.
Select Comments Tab:

Click 3 Dot Icon:

Click on the ‘three-dot icon’ at the end of the comment.
Select any one option Given Below:

1. Remove
Selecting this remove option will remove that comment.
2. Report
If you click on the next report option, you can inform YouTube about the information about that comment. Who will allow you to report back to that comment?
3. Hide User From Channel
If you select this option, the person who commented will be blocked. Any comment coming from that account will be automatically removed.
4. Always Approve Comments From This Use
Selecting this option means that the person who made this comment can make any comment they want on your channel.
5. Add This User as a Comment Moderator
Selecting this option will allow you to modify the comments coming to your channel.
2. Block Someone on YouTube
If you want to block a specific YouTube channel altogether from comment mail and another contact, follow the steps below.
Open Targeted Channel:
First, open the channel you want to block.
Click About:

Look at that page, and there will be a ‘flag icon’ as shown in the picture above. Just click on it.
Select “Block User”:
In the four options that appear, select the first option ‘block user’ option.
3. Unblock Someone On YouTube:
So far, we have seen how to block a channel or account, and now we will see how to unblock it.

Open Community Tab:

Next, select the ‘community tab’ on the left side. Now select the ‘Automated Filters’ option at the top.
Remove User:
If you scroll down that page, there will be a box below called Hidden Users, as shown in the picture above. It contains the name of the ‘blocked channel’, which can be removed by clicking on the (x) symbol.
4. Block Unwanted Words and Links:
If you only have a few words in the following comment, you can automatically remove that comment or go to the held for reviews section. Not only that, we will see how to block unwanted links that are not needed.

Type Block Words & Tick Block Links:
- It would help if you typed the ‘blocked words’ in the box above. For example, what will block anyone from typing sample if I type ‘sample’ in your channel video comment section.
- Similarly, who will block all the links to your channel by selecting the ‘Block Links’ option at the bottom of the page.
- After doing all this, do not forget to click on the ‘Save’ option.
